Initially conceived as a collection primarily of female artists, the Abundius Collection has organically evolved to embrace a broader, more nuanced perspective. The collection centers on artists who explore deep, often marginalized narratives — including gender, sexuality, mental health, and social transformation — regardless of the artist's gender or sexual orientation.

The collection is not limited to emerging artists. It intentionally incorporates works by influential older generation artists who have significantly influenced the younger artists, creating a rich intergenerational dialogue.

The collection moves beyond simple demographic categorization, instead focusing on artists who:

• Explore distinctive narratives of the post-transformation generation

• Challenge and redefine cultural perceptions

• Address complex social and personal themes

• Represent the multifaceted experiences of contemporary Polish identity
